Ed McMahon - Michael Jackson - Farah FawcettNow I never will declare myself a news source but I am deeply saddened by this weeks events (so far). We have lost 3 prestigious individuals that have molded entertainment to what it is today.

First We Lost Ed McMahon, Ed McMahon was best known for being Johnny Carson's sidekick on the Tonight Show. Being an icon to the talk show community he hosted great nuggets of entertainment such as Star Search and the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon. He has had some sort of appearance in the most major late night talk shows and variety shows. Heeeeeeers Johnny!

Secondly Earlier today we have lost the definitive sex symbol of the 70's Farah Fawcett. With her pop status hit Charlie's Angels. She was the true symbol of the 70's.

Last and Certainly Not Least, The Loss of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. He made American pop music go global. Starting in the Jackson 5 with his siblings, Michael Jackson's talent was so powerful to captivate the world. With numerous number one hits under his belt such as: Thriller, Beat It, and Smooth Criminal. He has been under public scrutiny with the events on his civil and criminal cases involving child molestation. His music and talents will be missed and our thoughts go out to his family (as weird as they may be).

http://www.maxmole.com/2009/06/rip-ed-mcmahon-michael-jackson-farah.htmlmaxmole.united@gmail.com (Maxmole)0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2952809878993825416.post-2881488108723703079Mon, 11 May 2009 04:49:00 +00002009-08-08T03:48:57.484-06:00ZombiesSomething WeirdT-Virus Anyone..?I know its been such a long time since I posted on my blog, but I came across something on my TV that made me giggle so I had to share it with you . Yesterday afternoon I saw an Advert for Avon’s Anew Clinical Derma-Full Facial Filling Serum. Now you are probably asking yourself, "Why is Max wasting my time with such trifles in the make-up community?". Well my friends, this post be not in vain. The reason why I make a mere mention of such a so called "Serum" is because it looks so similar to a product that could…? MAKE THE DEAD WALK… ! Avon has decided to finally make the T-Virus, this would be the same virus that reanimated the dead in both the Resident Evil Games and Movies. Below, I have made a comparison of both Avon’s commercial and the movie trailer for Resident Evil: Apocalypse .. The similarities are quite, chilling (insert maniacal laughter) ! Enjoy :D ……

http://www.maxmole.com/2009/05/t-virus-anyone.htmlmaxmole.united@gmail.com (Maxmole)0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2952809878993825416.post-453899021145767775Sun, 07 Sep 2008 06:27:00 +00002008-09-08T14:45:01.290-06:00Concert ReviewAwesome Concert Volume VII -- Nine Inch Nails -- E Center 09/03/2008

Nine Inch Nails graced the E-Center last Wednesday to a not so packed house and brought us a spectacular show like always. The production value of NIN's shows brings Trent Reznors' music to life. There were many effects and visualizations that captured the emotion of each performed song. The play list included Singles from the new album The Slip. The show started with the instrumental 999,999 and pushed to 1,000,000 (both from The Slip).

This was the first time I saw music from his fully instrumental album from Ghosts I-IV. It was an odd reception from my friend Phil who was not expecting songs from that album to be performed. The style of those songs are more of a Jazz odyssey/Industrial fusion (stand up bass, Xylophone and all). I expected NIN to perform these songs and it gave me time to feel and see these songs in the way only Trent can. The picture above was not taken by me but I yanked it from the NIN forums from SLC. While I have mentioned earlier the E-Center was not nearly packed. The tickets were reduced to $20 for one weekend. Trent came out during an encore and expressed his feelings on seeing a half-full arena. He thanked us for attending and being his "True Fans". For this being my sophomore NIN concert and I expect to see them again and again and will see them when he is near again. I Thank you Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails for Coming to Salt Lake and I cannot wait to experience this again.

p.s. The opening band Deerhunter sucked ass. I just wanted to say that :)

http://www.maxmole.com/2008/09/awesome-concert-volume-vii-nine-inch.htmlmaxmole.united@gmail.com (Maxmole)0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2952809878993825416.post-6895536228818048240Sun, 17 Aug 2008 18:38:00 +00002008-09-06T17:55:31.265-06:00Political RantDelusions of.... Are you serious?

As the Republican National Convention winds to a close and we are all "Shocked and Awed" By the McCain machines' choice for Veep. The great, grand, Governor of the Largest state, Alaska Sarah Palin !! For some reason this choice feels a bit rushed. I mean honestly, The Great Governor has no sustainable track record for her state for the whopping 24 months she's been in office (Except for the Bridge to nowhere. "Selling" the Governor Jet or maybe the Whole Alaska Succession Movement her family was part of?) . This just reeks like a blatant attempt to grasp for the female vote, youth vote or even the Hilary vote. By watching John McCains' speech tonight (I DVR'd it), It seemed like I was watching a WWE match, after every word or phrase that John McCain said some protester would rile up and everyone would start chanting USA. The looks on the attendees faces saying our beloved Country's acronym seemed alien in a way. Like if they were a pit of vipers hissing. John McCains' speech wasn't momentous. I didn't feel moved it didn't give me hope, it didn't even show me that he can move our country in the right direction.

Now on onto another note. A few days ago, I was on my way home going Northbound on I-15 from Sandy and saw the most peculiar billboard for the Utah GOP. It had a picture of a Mother and her child and it said in huge words UTAH REPUBLICAN PARTY with the ICAN as shown in the red. What the point of the billboard was I can live my life as I want with the GOP.

With the current state of our economy, Unemployment at it's highest, wages at their lowest, and not to mention the current debacle that is the War in Iraq. There is no fucking way the Republican party has the audacity to think they are on anyone's best interest. I am fully aware that I could not live in any bigger Red State than Utah. Its not considered a battleground state and probably will not be in my lifetime. But the brashness of this ad makes me think that either; A: they are not aware of our current situation and who and what events caused this us to be this way or B: they have no regard to the intelligence of the American citizens who have to see ads like this. I feel the Republican party in general, not just in the Good ol' State of Utah is not the party of the future, they are not the party with the possibility of change and prosperity.

Well there is my rant, If I offended you I'm not sorry. There are truths here and there are so-called spun truths that can possibly debunk what I say. Without a Doubt this is certain. . we should end the war in Iraq. . Rebuild our Economy. . Seek Alternative fuels for Energy. . and vote for someone that has the chance and position to do just that.

http://www.maxmole.com/2008/08/delusions-of-are-you-serious.htmlmaxmole.united@gmail.com (Maxmole)1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2952809878993825416.post-6968910881101469440Mon, 07 Jul 2008 05:45:00 +00002008-07-09T10:08:27.658-06:00CD ReviewKiller - Tech N9ne

Back on July 1st Tech N9ne released his latest CD since the 2007 release of MLK: Mizery Loves Kompany. This album offers 32 brand spanking new tracks to entice your ear buds. This selection offers the many skits that are common in this genre of music starting track 1 with "Dr. Fraziers Office". This skit is has Tech entering a psychiatrists office to discuss his "Demons" that quell inside and the CD is to portray the many emotions and sides of Aaron "Tech N9ne" Yates.

One thing first and foremost I would like to state is this album is good, and I'll even call it great, but this album is not as great as Tech N9nes album from 2006, Eveready: The Religion. My decision can be considered biased because Eveready is my first Tech N9ne album I've purchased (thanks Lacey ;)). The fact that Tech is trying to go mainstream does not effect me and my views in the slightest. I just think it may be a possibility that he is waining from his eclectic musings that are his bread and butter (i.e. It's Alive or Bout ta' Bubble). I will post a playlist at the bottom of this blog so you can listen to what I thought were the highlights of the CD. Here is a brief description of each track along with its name and maybe a funny thing or two I though of.

Dr. Fraziers Office (skit) - This has some funny moments in it that will make you laugh.

Like Yeah - Good hardcore Tech track - Killa killa , it's tha Gorilla

Wheaties (Feat. Shawnna) - Good beat, but all and all I think it's a pretty weak track

Everybody Move - One of the strongest tracks, Great Beat, and actually wants to make you move ! Club song all the way! - Time to scheize or get off the crapper

Get the Fuck outta here (feat. Paul Wall & Popper) - This slows the beat a little, it has some creative lyrics and Paul wall adds some additional swagger to the album.

The Waitress - Song explains itself. Tech is rapping about an attractive waitress, Good beat but the chorus is pretty weak.

Crybaby - Tech rapping about the current situation of rap and his story on entering the Industry, This has a great story and a great POV that Tech has for his fellow rappers.

Shit is Real - This is a Kabosh track . . Possibly the worst track I think on the album.

Blackboy (Feat. Brother J, Ice Cube & Krizz Kaliko) - Great beat and its great to hear Ice Cube on a Tech track.

Pillow Talkin' (Feat. Scarface) - Carries the beat from Blackboy. a sex track I dont care for it that much.

Paint A Dark Picture (Feat. Dirtball) - I love this song, Cause its so Dark!! -I can Write a verse and take the sun away. . . Darkness . . .

Hope For A Higher Power - Good track, slower beat with great lyrics.

Worst Case Scenario (Skit) - Skit with prelude to track 14

Psycho Bitch II (Feat. So welcome to my blog! and hopefully this will be one of many (at least until I forget about it). As many of you know Yesterday was the 4th of July and it went well here on our end. We invited the families, My Mom, Aunt, Brother and his girlfriend came over. Lacey invited her Mom and her step dad over to our place. A week before the 4th we went to the Wal-mart and purchased a brand new state of the art Hibachi!!! Lately, I have been wanting to grill some animal flesh and with this handy dandy tool i will be able to do so. The event turned out great we had everyone bring at least one side dish. Lacey's Mom loves Aerosmith so we had her play the new Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Edition. The hamburgers turned out great (except the 1st batch[seriously "cajun"]) I cooked some hot-dogs as well which turned out well. I cant wait to start BBQ'ing more regularly for family and friends. At night we decided to do some fireworks we bought a pack of fountains and some roses and sparklers at Wal-mart. On our way home from California we stopped at the Moapa Indian Res. and got some fireworks. i was excited to buy some "Out of State" fireworks. We got some rockets and some M-800's to wreck up the joint we started doing the rockets and about the 8th one into our "presentation" one of the crotchety old man from across the street was yelling some incoherent ramblings. I never heard one full sentence from that man but i heard the words "illegal and you fucking that racket". I was thinking he might be referring to rockets we were shooting in the air. After his ramblings we stopped the rockets due to the him leering at us in his boxer shorts standing behind his screen door. All that we can see of him was his flabby, wrinkled , boxer short wearing self. He stood out there for a good half an hour while we finished our remaining legal fireworks and cleaned up the whole mess. After we were completely done we said good night to our nosy neighbor and packed thing up. After the fireworks everyone began to leave. We did our hugs and goodbyes then Lacey and I began to clean. All and all it was one of the best 4ths I've had in a real long time. I am excited to see what the 24th has in store for us. . .

http://www.maxmole.com/2008/07/welcome-foolish-mortals.htmlmaxmole.united@gmail.com (Maxmole)0
